Hey ho

What is it with these people from Answers in Genesis?

I mean I don't have a problem with people believing in Creation (or anything for that matter) provided they've got a good argument for doing so. For example, someone who believes in Creation at some time in the past and allows, at the very least, intra-species evolution as well as other observed phenomena can be religious AND intelligent. But these people use really bad arguments. Mercury's existence disproves evolution? A belief in evolution will encourage you to violence at school? What is this?

After all of these arguments, Evolution is just an hypothesis that happens to work at the moment? Until something proves it wrong, it appears that a lot of people are happy to believe it. And the same can be said for Creation. I haven't yet met one person, nor seen, nor heard of for that matter, who goes out of their way to destroy belief in Creation. So what drives these 'Xians'?

3 points:
* Are all Americans like this? Or at least South-Western Xians?
* Why try to destroy belief in Evolution?
* Why, oh why, does this have to be sneaking into Australia?
